Music and Piano Lessons in Southern Oregon

Master's Music is two people, Margie and Pat Daly, husband and wife, who work together to bring the joy of music to people of all ages in southern Oregon and northern California. This is done primarily in two ways.

1. TEACHING
   1. Offering private lessons in piano and music theory
   2. Presenting pre-concert lectures for the Rogue Valley Symphony Orchestra
   3. Teaching college-level classes at Southern Oregon University and Pacific Bible College
2. PERFORMING/ACCOMPANYING
   1. Accompanying student vocalists, instrumentalists for recitals and contests
   2. Providing music for weddings, parties, gatherings of any kind
   3. Accompanying the Rogue Valley Youth Choruses
   4. Playing for worship services public and private

Since the teaching of music is increasingly omitted from public schools, both parents and the students themselves have felt the need to pursue other means to develop this important and satisfying discipline. The ability to play music, improvise and express one's self musically is an enjoyable skill that will bring life-long pleasure to the individual and his or her audiences. Piano lessons provide an excellent foundation to any other musical pursuit, whether that is to sing, play an instrument or compose. The ability to make music builds confidence in the player, fosters a spirit of teamwork in an ensemble setting, and is a skill that adapts itself to any musical genre from classics to popular music. Learning music also offers an understanding of history and culture - how other people have expressed their own view of the world.

Master's Music exists to encourage our students in their pursuit of music, to serve and bless them and ultimately to honor God and enjoy the gifts He has given each of us in what we do. The "master" in Master's Music comes from "Adonai" (Master) a title referring to Jesus. It can also signify that both Pat and Margie have Masters Degrees in music.
